Welcome 2017!

Hope you are all having a great お正月 New Year.

I enjoyed お餅 rice cakes with sweetened Adzuki beans for New Year celebration. It is very difficult to find rice cakes here in Montreal, especially the rice cakes made with brown rice or other grains. So I bought some from Japan and kept it for the special occasion.

DIY Workshop: Guilt-free chocolate donuts & icing

Yes...following popular demand, I will be sharing my secret techniques on how to make fluffy dark chocolate donuts without using gluten, eggs or nuts! Join us? While our donuts bake in the oven, we will also make donut icings without any artificial colourings. Learn to decorate your donuts and take them home, that is, if you can resist not eating them all straight out of the oven!

Workshop cost: 35$ per person

DIY Workshop: Intro to hearty & colourful vegan sushi (gluten-free too!)

Please come discover my top basic tips on how to make your vegan sushis prettier than a rainbow using seasonal vegetables that match the fanciest restaurant. You won't even miss the fish and seafood!

You will learn:

- how to cook rice without a rice cooker

- how to make sushi rice with pure and simple ingredients

- how to roll sushi like a professional

- how to display sushi artistically on a plate

You will make your own sushi and taste them after. You will also be treated to Maya's miso soup and sushi cake.

DIY Workshop: Valentine's Raw Chocolate Euphoria

Valentine's day is coming soon! Wouldn't it be a great gift to make your own raw chocolate infused with all your love, using some secret ingredients for your loved ones?

Raw cacao is one of the highest sources of antioxidants in the world, and was treated as gold in the Aztec and Mayan era. It has numerous benefits for both mind and body.

- Ananadamide, aka the bliss molecule, will improve your mood.

- Phenethylamine, aka the love chemical, will make you feel like you are falling in love and maybe even improve libido!

We use organic, fair-trade, raw cacao and superfoods available in our nearby markets. Also, our products are free of gluten, nuts, soy, and artificial flavour or colourings.

Learn how to make basic raw chocolate, almond butter cups and hot chocolate.

Top off your chocolates also with superfoods!
